About the Author
Dr. Christine Landry Elliott is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She holds a bachelor’s in psychology, a master’s in counseling from Webster University, and a doctoral degree in ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camellia, Georgia. She pursued a career in mental health and substance abuse for twenty-five years and has dedicated her life to serving God’s people and the kingdom of God.

I so enjoyed reading your book. Reading how your mother stayed in prayer concerning your life reminded me of how I too did the same for our children during a time in their lives that the devil sought to destroy them before they could reach their place in God. Thank you for releasing your story, I know that it will continue to inspire everyone who reads it.
In the book under the title, “Momma, Don’t Go to Church Tonight.” While she was ministering the Word of God at church that night (not knowing her son had been in an accident) a heavy spirit fell on her! However the Holy Ghost was in the midst of the service for deliverance but at the same time, the heavy burden spirit was upon her because of her son accident. What stood out to me and blessed me at the same time is, Apostle fell on her knees and tried to pray but to no avail because she didn’t have the words. But God!!! The Holy Spirit begin to make intercession on her behalf. Glory to God🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 This truly blessed me and encouraged me to let me know when I don’t have the words to say, I can begin to speak in my heavenly language and the Holy Ghost will intercede on my behalf 😭😭😭 What a Mighty God we serve 🙏🏾

My review is, this is a book that should be in everyone’s library! It’s the transparency for me. To know ALL the things Apostle Elliott went through and to see the Oil and the Anointing that she carries is so encouraging. This book lets me know that if God brought her out of darkness into His marvelous light, He can and will do it for me (us) Her story is so inspiring! I’m in awe of God’s glory, anointing, and heavy oil on her life. It’s a pleasure to be CONNECTED to such a powerful🔥🔥🔥 anointed Woman of God. I’m so excited about what God is going to do in her and through her! Mother, Your Greater Is Here and It’s In FULL EFFECT in Jesus Mighty Name 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I purchased my book on Saturday, June 11. When I returned home, I started reading the book and could not put it down. I ended up reading the book within a few hours. That book blessed my soul so much. I have always had faith in God and believed God is a deliverer, but after reading this book, my faith has increased. Sometimes we feel what we are going through is a lot, but you never know what someone else is dealing with. I look at Dr. Elliott and see the epitome of what a Godly woman should be. A Proverbs 31 woman. I have known her just about all my life, and I love her dearly. The book is fantastic and I encourage everyone to read it.

This book is phenomenal! As I was reading From Darkness to Glory, I thought I was watching a lifetime or hallmark movie. This true story depicts how the trials of life can come to destroy you, but with faith in God and the support of family and friends you can overcome any obstacle.
